Medieval Times Dinner and
Tournament Theater
From the moment you cross the drawbridge over the fish-filled moat, you will be transported back to a time when brave and valiant knights battled for their King and Queen. Throughout the evening, you will marvel at these courageous men on horseback, who fight with swords and compete in the dangerous joust. Cheer on your favorite knight as you enjoy a feast "fit for a king."
Kennedy
Assasination - Sixth Floor Museum
Dallas will forever be known as the city where President John F Kennedy was shot, and the sites associated with his death are among Dallas' most visited attractions. If you have time to visit only one, make it the Sixth Floor Museum, a thoughtful, comprehensive tribute to the life, death and legacy of JFK.
The museum explains in minute-by-minute detail the events of 22 November 1963.
Artifacts include the original layout for the front page of that afternoon's Dallas Times Herald, stills from the famous home movie filmed by Abraham Zapruder, a teletype machine endlessly reprinting the first report of the murder and an FBI model of the assassination site.
But the most evocative exhibit is the corner window overlooking Dealey Plaza, the grassy knoll and the triple underpass: the same vista suspected gunman Lee Harvey Oswald had on that fateful November day.
Reunion Tower
The Reunion Tower is a must see if you are in Dallas.
Reunion Tower is truly a Dallas landmark about 50 stories in height. Probably the best view of the skyline
can be seen from this 560 foot tower. You can have lunch or dinner at the top of the rotating sphere. The viewing deck is just above the restaurant and admission is just $2.00 and it is opened till 10:00. The
elevator to the top is quick and it is glass enclosed so you can see
out. Tower is connected underground to the famous glass Hyatt Regency hotel and rail system.
The Tower is located just a couple blocks from the Sixth Floor museum.
Frontiers of Flight Museum
Embark on a memorable aviation journey - a tour of the Frontiers of Flight Museum. During your experience, you will bridge several lifetimes starting with the pioneers who realized their earliest dreams of flying; identifying with the aviators of the 20's and 30's, known as the "Golden Age of Flight"; understanding the sacrifices of the fliers of World War II; and progressing to the jet and rocket age of today.
